I’ve decided to make a new wiring loom for my car from scratch, once again leveraging the outstanding coverage on this topic from both Kriss Motors and Lin Rose in their respective blogs.

As I build up my approach to the new wiring, I want to have a readable version of the current wiring diagram, and something I can scribble ideas on. I scanned the (quite grubby) wiring diagram from my secondhand manual at 600dpi on my home printer, and then cleaned the scan in Photoshop. The resulting image can be printed out at A2 size. The diagram is now easy to see, I can scribble notes on it, and it’s simple to replace.
